Nikita Baranov moved to Pyunik in 2021 from the Maltese club Hamrun Spartans. In the 2021/22 season, Nikita won his first title in Armenia, becoming the winner of the Armenian championship with Pyunik. Before joining our team, the Estonian won 8 cups with FC Flora Tallinn, becoming a winner of the Estonian Championship and Super Cup three times and the national cup winner twice. OF Armenian clubs, Baranov played in Alashkert in the 2019/20 season. Since 2015, Baranov has been a player of the Estonia national team, having played 45 matches.
