On the 23^rd match day of the Armenia Premier League Pyunik hosted at home Artsakh.

Our team took the initiative from the first minute. The first kick to the goal was made by Vyacheslav Dmitriev. On the 10^th minute Mohamed Konate could reach the ball a moment earlier than the goalkeeper passing it to Arthur Miranyan, but the opponent was faster and eliminated the ball from the penalty area.

On the 16^th minute Pyunik had a real chance to advance in the score when after a corner Vitali Stezhko’s shoot miraculously slipped by the goal.

On the 25^th minute Artsakh players created a dangerous moment but our team’s goalkeeper Andria Dragoevich could face in time the opponent and neutralize the theat.

It was the 28^th minute when our team managed to open the score of the game. Marcu Kristi from the left made an accurate pass towards Artsakh penalty area and standing there Mohamed Konate with an unstoppable header put Pyunik ahead.

During the extra time of the first half our team had a good opportunity to go for break with an advantage of two goals but Vyacheslav Dmitriev being in a good position struck two high from a close distance.

The beginning of the second half was less active than of the first one. After Karlen Mkrtchyan’s mighty kick on the 57^th minute the guests’ goalkeeper saved his team.

6 minutes later Arthur Miranyan could double the score but hit high from a perfect position.

Artsakh footballers had a good chance to equalize the score when on the 76^th minute Benik Hovhannisyan struck hard from the penalty area but Andria Dragoevich saved our team with a perfect jump.

Shortly after Arthur Miranyan’s pass the opponent’s footballer almost conquered his own goal.

6 minutes before the end of the match our team had another good chance to increase the score but Alik Arakelyan, who face alone the goalkeeper, kicked too high.

Finally on the last minute Erik Vardanyan invaded the opponent’s penalty area and addressed the ball to Arthur Miranyan whose kick lacked strength and the perfect moment was lost.

Pyunik succeeded to win Artsakh with a minimal score due to Mohamed Konate’s goal and continues staying among leaders.
