In the 25th day of the Armenian Premier League Pyunik hosted Lori.
The two teams started the match actively, and from the first minute it went with high speed.
On the 6th minute when Arthur Miranyan was going to kick at Lori’s penalty area Hayk Ishkhanyan pushed him but the referee’s whistle remained quiet.
On the 10th minute Denis Talalai made a very gross mistake passing the ball back to our penalty area where Isah Aliyu was watching out but Lori’s footballer failed to take advantage of the “gift” and after his kick Dragoevich saved our team.
Shortly after “Pyunik” responded with a dangerous attack when Usman invaded the penalty area, and this time Siukaev saved Lori.
On the 17th minute after a pass from the left wing Arthur Miranyan’s header miraculously passed by Lori’s goal.
On the 24th minute as a result of the guests’ attack a kick followed to Pyunik’s goal but Andrija Dragoevich managed to catch the ball with a second try.
On the 29th minute the Vanadzor club opened the score of the match when Jonel Désiré getting rid of some players of our team addressed the ball to Sandi Umaru Inusa and the last one managed to move his team ahead.
Pyunik tried to equalize the score till going to the break but during the last pass of the attack our footballers’ actions were not accurate.
Immediately after the interval Rumyan Hovsepyan and Denis Dorozhkin came out as a replacement.
In the second half the first dangerous moment was created by Lori footballers when, luckily, no one of Lori’s players responded to Jonel Désiré’s dangerous pass.
In the first part of the second time the guests taking advantage of the gaps in our defense were constantly attacking, and our defenders often conceded in velocity to the opponent’s black agile footballers.
All this gave a result and Lori managed to double the score: Jonel Désiré taking advantage of our defenders’ permissiveness at a great speed faced Dragoevich and conquered Pyunik’s goal without any obstacle.
In the second half our team first seriously threatened Lori’s gate only on the 62nd minute when after Rumyan Hovsepyan’s penalty kick Lori’s goalkeeper saved his team.
Finally at the 73rd minute there was a hope Pyunik could save the match: after Denis Dorozhkin’s kick at Lori’s penalty area the ball hit Artyom Khachaturov’s hand and the referee showed a penalty mark. Rumyan Hovsepyan approached the ball and accurately scored the penalty.
Andrei Talalaev immediately sent Erik Vardanyan to the pitch hoping to give a new impetus the attacks.
On the last minutes of the match Pyunik had two perfect chances to equalize the score, but in one case after Dmitriev’s kick Siukaev again rescued his team, in the other one Arthur Miranyan’s shot was weak.
And on the 89th minute Désiré could have scored his second goal if there wasn’t Dragoevich’s reliable play.
Unfortunately, Pyunik’s all efforts to draw the match were in vain, and Lori’s footballers playing reliably in the defense managed to preserve the favorable score.
