Official statement: David Yurchenko

Pyunik FC has a new player. The 35-year-old goalkeeper of the Armenian national team David Yurchenko has joined the team.

Yurchenko started his career in 2004 at Titan Moscow football club and a year later moved to Liepājas Metalurgs, representing Latvia. In the 2007 season he played for Dinamo Minsk, then from 2008 to 2011 he played for Krylia Sovetov Samara from where he played a season on loan at Volgar Astrakhan. David Yurchenko also played for Mordovia Saransk (2012-13), Ufa (2013-16), Anzhi Makhachkala (2016-17), Tosno (where he became a Russian Cup winner in the 2017/18 season), Yenisey Krasnoyarsk (2018-19) and Shakhter Karagandy (2020).

Yurchenko's last team was Alashkert Yerevan where he has played since January 2021.

It should be noted that David Yurchenko spent 17 matches for the Armenia national team.
