In 1986-93, studied and graduated from the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics of Yerevan State University.

In 1987-89 served in the Soviet Army.

Suren Baghdasaryan served in the National Security Service in 1995-2018, holding a number of leadership positions. During his service, Suren Baghdasaryan was awarded a number of state awards.

In 2018, he founded the Shield company, which he managed until 2021.

In 2021-2022, Suren Baghdasaryan headed the Bailiffs Service of the Judicial Department.
