Pyunik has nine new players

Pyunik FC has new players. Defenders Artur Avagyan, Sergiy Vakulenko, Mikhail Kovalenko, Boris Varga, midfielders Davit Davidyan, Andre Mensalao, Nemanja Mladenovic, forwards Luka Juricic and Marjan Radeski joined the team.

35-year-old left-back Artur Avagyan played for Noravank last season and reached the final of the Armenian Cup. Avagyan has played 252 matches and scored 7 goals in the Armenian Premier League.

The last team of 28-year-old Ukrainian defender Sergiy Vakulenko was Ararat-Armenia. Playing for it in the 2019/20 season he became a champion of Armenia. During his career Vakulenko has played in a number of Ukrainian teams as well as in the Ukraine teenage and youth teams.

27-year-old Russian left-back Mikhail Kovalenko is best known for his performances in Noah where he became an Armenian Cup and Supercup winner in the 2019/20 season. Kovalenko's last team was Dolgoprudnyi FC near Moscow.

During his career 28-year-old Serbian defender Boris Varga has played exclusively for Serbian teams such as Indjija, Proleter, Pivara and Napredak. His last team was Serbian Backa Topola. Varga played 131 mathces in the Serbian Super League and scored 1 goal.

24-year-old winger David Davidyan has been a two-time Armenian champion, first playing for Ararat-Armenia in the 2018/19 season and then – for Alashkert in the 2020/21 season. Davidyan spent the previous season in Khimki near Moscow which plays in the Russian Premier League.

32-year-old Brazilian midfielder Andre Mensalao already has experience of playing in Armenia. In the 2020/21 season he played for Lori Vanadzor and  spent the first part of the 2021/22 season in Sevan FC. Mensalao's last team was North Macedonia's bronze medalist Shkendija.

During his career 29-year-old Serbian winger Nemanja Mladenovic has played not only for Serbian teams but also for Norwegian Bodo Glimt and Greek Larisa. He also played for the Serbian U19 national team, scoring 2 goals in 8 matches. Mladenovic's last team was Serbian Napredak.

25-year-old Bosnian forward Luka Juricic, whose height is 1.90m, played in different age groups of the national youth teams of his country. Juricic became a 2016/17 Bosnian Cup winner playing for Siroki Brijeg. He played for Bosnian Zeljeznicar and Korean Gimpo last 2 seasons.

27-year-old North Macedonian forward Marjan Radeski plays for his homeland national team where he has scored 1 goal in 17 matches. He was included in the roster of the North Macedonia national team at Euro 2020. Radeski is a three-time North Macedonia champion twice with Shkendija (2017/18, 2018/19) and once with Shkupi (2021/22), which was his last team.
