Our new goalkeeper is a graduate of Mika Yerevan. During his career he played in Banants (now Urartu), Alashkert, Van and Noravank. His previous team was BKMA. Henry Avagyan won the Armenian Cup twice (2018/19 and 2021/22) with Alashkert and Noravank.

He played 103 matches in his career at the professional level, in which he kept the clean sheet 25 times. In the current season, he played 17 matches for BKMA, conceded 23 goals and had a clean sheet 3 times.  

In 2018, he made his debut for the Armenian national team in a match against Liechtenstein, and he is a current player of the national team.
