Dear football community,

On behalf of Pyunik football club and its head coach Eghishe Melikyan, we express our regret and apologize for the incident happened in the Noah-Pyunik match of the 32nd day of the Fastex Armenian Premier League at Abovyan City Stadium.

It is no secret that the philosophy and values of Pyunik FC are primarily based on respect for rivals. This is the reason why our club understands that such phenomena cannot take place in football. We are deeply aware that we, as the current champion of Armenia, should not allow such incidents to continue.

This is a fitting occasion to remind everyone once again that despite the emotional side of football, we must remain loyal to the most important law of this sport that is respect.

We hope that no Armenian football fan will witness a similar incident again, and will enjoy every minute of this spectacular game.
