Pyunik has signed a contract with Armenian defender Arman Hovhannisyan. The player moved to our team from Ararat Yerevan.

Hovhannisyan started playing football at the Pyunik academy at the age of 9. In 2009, Hovhannisyan signed his first professional contract with Pyunik, and in 2011, he made his debut in the match with Gandzasar of the Armenian Premier League. He played 107 matches for our club, and a total of 220 matches in the Armenian championship.

Arman twice won the Armenian Cup and once the Armenian championship with Pyunik. He also won the championship and the cup with Ararat-Armenia and Shirak respectively.

The 29-year-old defender has worn the jersey of the Armenia national team 12 times.

During his career, Arman also played for Ukrainian Zirka, Kazakh Tobol and Armenian clubs Shirak, Alashkert, Ararat-Armenia, Gandzasar and Ararat.
