We are glad to announce that Pyunik FC has signed a contract with Brazilian attacking midfielder Gustavo Marmentini.

The 29-year-old winger is an alumnus of the prestigious Brazilian club Atletico Paranaense. Marmentini played 15 matches in the Brazilian Serie B, scoring two goals and one assist. Gustavo moved to Armenia after performances in the Indian Super League and UAE and spent two seasons in Alashkert. Marmentini played 56 games in Alashkert where he scored 17 goals and 17 assists, winning the Armenian Cup and the Super Cup. Marmentini played in Alashkert with some of our current players, and also played under the leadership of Yeghishe Melikyan.

After productive performances in Armenia, Gustavo moved to Israeli Hapoel and next season he joined the ranks of one of the most title-winning local clubs, Hapoel Beer Sheva, with which he won the 2021/22 Israel Cup. Marmentini took part in 55 matches in the Israeli Premier League and scored 9 goals and 8 assists.

Our newcomer’s last club was Greek PAS Lamia.

Marmentini will play for Pyunik, wearing the number 17 jersey.
