
We are pleased to announce that former Ukrainian professional footballer Denys Kulakov has been appointed as the Sports Director of FC Pyunik.
Kulakov began his career at Shakhtar Donetsk, one of Ukraine’s most prestigious clubs, where he reached the first team. He later played for other Ukrainian clubs such as Illichivets, Vorskla Poltava, Dnipro, and Metalist Kharkiv. Kulakov won the Ukrainian Cup with both Shakhtar and Vorskla. He was also called up to the Ukrainian national team, making his debut in 2010.
Kulakov later spent 9 seasons with FC Ural, where he became the team captain and leader.
In his new role as Sports Director, Denys Kulakov will lead the sports department of FC Pyunik, focusing on developing long-term strategies and creating effective tools for the growth of both the first team and the academy. Denys will work closely with the coaching staff of the main team and the academy to ensure a comprehensive approach to the club's development.
