We are happy to announce that experienced midfielder Artak Dashyan has returned to FC Pyunik.
The 36-year-old footballer has played during his career for Yerevan’s Banants (now Urartu), Donetsk’s Metalurh, Kapan’s Gandzasar, Bahrain’s Al-Muharraq, Skopje’s Vardar, Yerevan’s Alashkert, and Kazakhstan’s Atyrau.
In December 2021, Dashyan joined Pyunik and became the Armenian champion of the 2021/22 season with our team.
In September 2022, during the first two matchdays of the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage, he scored for Pyunik against Switzerland’s Basel and Bratislava’s Slovan. Dashyan became the first Armenian footballer to score a goal in the group stages of European competitions while playing for an Armenian club.
Also memorable was Artak Dashyan’s spectacular goal from his own half of the pitch in the summer of 2023 in a UEFA Europa Conference League match against Sweden’s Kalmar. In the 2023/24 season, he won the Armenian championship with Pyunik for the second time, and during that season Dashyan served as the captain of our team.
Artak Dashyan made 98 appearances for Pyunik, scoring 15 goals and providing 4 assists.
His previous club was Yerevan’s Noah, with whom he became the Armenian champion and Cup winner in the 2024/25 season.
Dashyan has also made 27 appearances for the Armenia national team, scoring 2 goals.
FC Pyunik wishes Artak Dashyan a warm welcome back and successful performances.
