FC Pyunik has made new additions to the squad: Ivorian midfielder Mohamed Bamba and Nigerian forward Stephen Alfred have joined our team.

The 21-year-old Mohamed Bamba began his career in 2023 with the Moldovan club Saxan, before moving to the Belarusian side Smorgon in June 2024, where he spent one and a half seasons.

Mohamed Bamba's previous club was Torpedo-BelAZ, a representative of the Belarusian Premier League, where he had been playing since January of this year.

In total, the Ivorian footballer made 65 appearances in the Belarusian  League, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.

The 28-year-old Stephen Alfred started his career with Nigeria's Kwara United, later playing for the Moldovan club Saxan and Russia's Sochi.

In July 2019, Stephen Alfred joined Pyunik on loan and played for our team until January 2021. During that period, he featured in 21 matches for Pyunik, contributing 2 goals and 2 assists.

Stephen Alfred has also played for Belarus's Slutsk, as well as Israel's Hapoel Hadera and Maccabi Herzliya. In the summer of 2024, he continued his career with Dinamo Minsk, winning the Belarusian championship with them that same year.

Notably, as a member of the Dinamo squad, Alfred played against Pyunik in the first qualifying round of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League. Furthermore, in the return leg between the two teams, the Nigerian forward won a late penalty for his side, which ultimately decided the outcome of the tie.

During that season, he also featured in the main stage of the UEFA Conference League with Dinamo Minsk.

The Nigerian footballer also spent half a season playing for Shinnik Yaroslavl in the Russian First League.

Stephen Alfred's previous club was Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino of the Belarusian Premier League, whose colors he had been defending since July 2025.

It is worth noting that the Nigerian forward made 26 appearances in the Israeli Premier League, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist. Meanwhile, in his 45 appearances in the Belarusian Premier League, he scored 15 goals and registered 8 assists.
