Pyunik hosted West Armenia on the 5th day of the IDBank Armenian Premier League.

 Although our team faced many dangerous moments in the first half, the teams went to the break without goals. In the second half, after Hovhannes Harutyunyan came out as a substitute, the game got hotter, as a result of which Brazilian Lucas Villela sent the ball to the opponent's goal. 4 minutes later Yusuf Otubanjo doubled the score, then when Harutyunyan hit the goalpost, the West Armenia player touched the ball with his hand and he was sent off the pitch. Yusuf Otubanjo accurately scored the penalty, making the final score of the match 3:0.

 Thanks to this victory, our team reached first place with 11 points. Pyunik will play the next match on September 2, being received by Van.
