On the 13th matchday of the IDbank Armenian Premier League, Pyunik hosted Urartu at the Junior Sport Stadium in Shengavit.

 In the 17th minute Sam Hendriks opened the score of the match with a header after a corner kick. It was the first goal of the Dutch footballer for the Yerevan club. In the 35th minute, the Brazilian footballer James Santos scored a beautiful long-range goal, and at the end of the first half, Hovhannes Harutyunyan scored a penalty kick, earned by Yusuf Otubanjo. Then in the added time, the guests’ footballer Artem Maksimenko reduced the difference of the points.

The score remained the same in the second half, and our team won 3:1.

Pyunik continues leading the tournament table with 33 points, having an advantage of 7 points over Urartu, going on the second place.

Our team will hold the next match on October 29 against West Armenia.
