Serges Déblé returns to Pyunik

We are glad to announce that Pyunik has signed a contract with 34-year-old forward Serges Déblé. The Ivorian footballer joins our team as a free agent.

Déblé took the first steps of his professional career in FC Mimosas of his native country. After becoming a player of the English Charlton, Déblé moved to the French Angers on loan, then to Nantes, where he scored 3 goals and one assist in 27 games.

After playing for Russian Khimki and Khabarovsk, the African joined Shirak. Déblé scored 17 goals and 13 assists in 31 games with the Gyumri team, as well as won the Armenian Supercup of the 2013/14 season.

Then, with Denmark's Viborg, Déblé won the country's second strongest cup in 2021. There he played 91 matches, scored 28 goals and 15 assists.

After 7 years, Serges Déblé returned to Armenia and after scoring 14 goals in the first part of the season for Ararat Yerevan, he moved to Pyunik. He helped the Yerevan team to win the  Armenian championship for the first time after 7 years, becoming the best scorer of the championship with 22 goals.

After leaving Pyunik, the 34-year-old forward joined Kazakhstan's Tobol and within a year won the national cup and a place in the Conference League qualifier. With his goals, Déblé helped Tobol to overcome  Basel and reached the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League and then the playoffs. Déblé left the Kazakh club with 14 goals and 8 assists in 53 games.

Serges Déblé was also invited to the Ivory Coast U23 team, where he scored one goal in 6 games.
