Pyunik played the first home match of the year in the 23rd day of the IDBank Armenian Premier League and defeated West Armenia 2:1.

Our team was creating sharp moments in the rival’s goal in the first half. In the 39th minute of the match, the corner kick of Pyunik turned into a lightning counterattack of the guests, which was finished by Julius Ofuoma’s goal. However, just 3 minutes later, Artak Dashyan restored the equality of the goals.

In the second half, our team managed to score the winning goal only in the 77th minute, which was scored by Serges Deble.

The next rival of Eghishe Melikyan's team is Van, which we will visit on March 8.
