In the 35th day of the IDBank Armenian Premier League, Pyunik hosted the leader of the championship, Noah, who left Shengavit's Junior Sport Stadium as a runner-up.

In the opening minutes of the match, Pyunik put a lot of pressure on the rival's goal, as a result of which our team was able to earn a penalty kick. Hovhannes Harutyunyan scored it accurately. In the middle of the second half after Jose Caraballo's shot, Ognen Cancarević saved his team, but Yussuf Otubanjo sent the rebounded ball to the rival's goal, doubling our advantage. Minutes later, defender Anton Bratkov scored his first goal for Pyunik after Wagner Gonsalves's free kick.

After this victory, our team is leading the standings of the Armenian Championship with 79 points. Pyunik will play the match of the last round in Gyumri on May 25 against Shirak. Even a draw in this match will be sufficient to win the champion title.
