Sani Buhari: I'm not a great footballer, but the coach believed in me and gave me a chance

Sani Buhari, the author of the only and winning goal, answered the questions of the press service of our club after the Pyunik - Celje match (1:0) of the playoff round of the Conference League qualification.

- Sani, I congratulate you on the victory and the goal. What are your emotions? This was your debut in Europe.

- I cannot describe my emotions because I am very happy. This was my first game, first goal, I always prayed to God to give me one chance, because I have to play, but I'm not a great footballer, however, the coach believed in me and included me in the starting lineup. I tried to do my best to help the team, God helped me to score. I am very happy.

- How do you feel, how is your adaptation going, we can say that this was your first game in this lineup?

- I am surrounded by wonderful players, if I make a mistake, no one yells at me, they support me, encourage me, show me the right path, they say: "Sani, play, you can do it!" I thought that if I make a mistake, someone will shout, "Why Sunny?", but no, even the coach always helps me. I feel good here, that's why I play well.

- What do you think about Celje and what do you think will be the most important thing in the second leg in Slovenia?

- I feel in my heart that we can win the confrontation, our rival is a very good team, but we have the right mindset, understanding how to do it, we can do it. I hope that the fans who will come to the stadium or will stay at home will pray for us to achieve our goal. I have good players in my team who have played a lot of matches and I believe we will succeed.
