New perspectives, challenges and practices in football management
Pyunik FC Chief Director Kim Arakelyan completed the ECA Development and Management Programmes for football clubs and academies, which included unique and innovative courses.
The programmes were designed to help club managers realize their full potential and put it to work for development.
The participants of the programs were directors and managers of football clubs from different countries of the world.
The Football Academy Management Programme was created in collaboration with the Johan Cruyff Institute in the Netherlands, and the courses were held at such prestigious clubs as Manchester City (England), Ajax (Netherlands), and Club Brugge (Belgium).
It was a great experience for Arakelyan to participate in the courses at the academies of Manchester City, Ajax and Brugge and to learn about the working style of the schools.
Within the framework of the Academy Management Programme, the chief director of Pyunik participated in courses on Data Science and Football Law at Manchester City. Along with the law regulations in football, the module was about how to apply data science to academy management, how to use data effectively to achieve better performance and ultimately
how different football methodologies affect the game.
During the courses at Ajax, the specialists addressed the topic of football development from both cognitive and physical perspectives. The module tackled the main factors of the football talent development, referring to the main tools for its development.
At Club Brugge, Arakelyan took part in a course that covered such important topics as social responsibility and public management in football. To emphasize the growth and development of football players both on and off the field, to create unique social projects in the field of football, to realize the importance and role of cultural and social aspects in football; this is exactly how the head of the academy should be according to Club Brugge.
At the end of the modules, the participants presented their individual presentations.
We congratulate the chief director of our club on this great achievement and we are sure that this is the beginning of new achievements for the Pyunik Academy.
