We are happy to announce that Pyunik has signed a contract with French defender Joel Bopesu.

Our newcomer's previous club was Zalgiris, where he has played since 2021. Bopesu won the country’s championship 3 times with the Lithuanian club, and ones the Lithuanian Cup and Super Cup. It’s noteworthy that for Zalgiris Joel participated in two matches against Pyunik in the group stage of the Conference League.

At the beginning of his career, the defender played in the second team of the French Arles, then in Châteauroux, Calais and Epinal.

The 29-year-old footballer also played for North Macedonian Skopje and Rabotnicki, In 2020, the French player moved to Latvia, where he played for Riga for a year and became the country's champion.

During his career, Bopesu played a total of 276 matches, scoring 13 goals and providing 39 assists.
