Pyunik defeated 5:2 Lernayin Artsakh in the second leg of the Armenian Cup quarterfinals and reached the semifinals with a total score of 12:4.
The Pomegranates scored all of their goals in the first half. Edgar Malakyan opened the scoring series, and Temur Djikiya continued it by scoring a poker.
In the second half, the hosts fought back two goals; Molina Obrego and Tigran Hakobyan stood out with goals.

Goalkeeper Nikita Alekseev and midfielder Mimito Biai made their debut for Pyunik in the cup match against Lernayin Artsakh.
