From July 30 to August 2, the matches of Group 3 of the 2025/26 Women’s Champions League first qualifying round were held in the capital of North Macedonia, Skopje, where the champion of Armenia Pyunik Girls team was included.

As is known, in the semifinals, our women’s team, thanks to Veronika Asatryan’s goal, had a historic 1:0 win over Bulgaria’s NSA Sofia, which was the first not only in the history of our club, but among the women’s teams represented Armenia in the tournament.

To qualify for the second qualifying round, the team led by Manuk Sargsyan competed in the final against the hosts, North Macedonia’s Ljuboten, who had won the other semifinal match against NSI Runavik from the Faroe Islands (4:1).

Unfortunately, in the decisive match, Pyunik Girls were unable to elaborate their success and lost 0:4 to the opponent.
