In the 11th round of the Fastex Premier League, Pyunik hosted Gandzasar at the Abovyan City Stadium.

After the defeat from Van in the previous round, our team's head coach Artak Oseyan made four changes in the starting lineup of Pyunik. Instead of the disqualified Aleksandar Miljkovic, Serob Galstyan, Daniel Aghbalyan and Matas Vareika, the following players entered the pitch: Filipe Almeida, Mikhail Kovalenko, Karlen Hovhannisyan and Gevorg Tarakhchyan.

The first dangerous moment was created by our players; after a good pass from Mikhail Kovalenko, Gevorg Tarakhchyan's header went high.

In the 31st minute, Pyunik received a free kick, which Alemao skillfully executed, sending the ball over the wall of the players, 1-0.

Before the break, Marius Noubissi could have scored his next goal, but after his strong shot, Gandzasar's goalkeeper Nikita Lobusov made a successful save.

In the second half, Javi Moreno had a great chance to score a goal, but going one-on-one against the goalkeeper, failed to shoot accurately.

Nevertheless, a few minutes later, our team managed to double the score. After Daniil Kulikov's pass, who had appeared in the opponent's penalty area, Mikhail Kovalenko sent the ball into the goal with one touch.

Pyunik won 2-0 and will host Gandzasar again at home in just a few days, this time in the 1/8 finals of the cup.
