We are pleased to announce that FC Pyunik and our team’s goalkeeper Henri Avagyan have extended their contract. The new agreement is valid until 2029.

Henri Avagyan joined Pyunik in January 2023 and, together with our team, became the Armenian champion in the 2023/24 season.

In January 2025, he continued his career at Ararat-Armenia, where he played for half a season. Last summer, Henri returned to Pyunik once again and has featured in 17 matches during the current season.

In total, Avagyan has made 46 appearances for Pyunik, keeping a clean sheet in 19 of those matches.

Henri Avagyan commented on extending his contract with Pyunik:

“I am extremely happy to have extended my contract with Pyunik. Throughout my entire time at the club, I have truly felt like part of the team, and that has given me additional confidence in my performances. I will continue to give my all to contribute to the team’s success. Yerevan is always pomegranate-colored.”
