As part of the training camp taking place in the United Arab Emirates, Pyunik played another set of friendly matches.

In the first match of the day, our team faced Latvian champions Riga. After the first half, the opponents were leading 1:0, but in the second half, Pyunik’s newcomer Momo Yansane, who came on as a substitute, restored the balance of the score, and the match ended in a draw, 1:1.

In the evening, Pyunik took on Al-Ittifaq, who compete in the UAE First Division. It is worth noting that the opponents’ squad featured renowned Italian forward Mario Balotelli. The only goal of the match was scored in the first half by Pyunik’s Portuguese defender Filipe Almeida, securing a narrow victory for Pyunik.
