Following the 2:1 victory over Ararat-Armenia in the marquee match of the Armenian Premier League's 5th round, Pyunik's head coach, Artak Oseyan, reflected on the game and spoke about Momo Yansane's departure from the team as well as Hovhannes Harutyunyan's current form:

"As expected, it was a very difficult match. Let's not forget we were playing against the reigning champions, so it was only natural to be this tough.

But hats off to our boys; they did a tremendous job mentally today. Tactically, we played quite smartly, and I consider our victory well-deserved.

In the second half, first and foremost, the opponent forced us to drop back. We hadn't planned to retreat so deep into defense. Of course, we thought we would drop back to defend in a mid-block, but you could say we structured our defense from deep for almost the entire second half.

How would I comment on Momo Yansane leaving the team? I can say it has nothing to do with his performance; it is due to disciplinary reasons.

Hovhannes Harutyunyan has lost quite a bit of weight, but he still needs to keep improving his physical conditioning. Compared to previous matches, he is improving game by game. I am very pleased with this progress, but this is not his ceiling, and he still has plenty of room to grow. However, as I mentioned before, he is a very important player for us, and he showed all of that on the pitch today."
