Vahagn Ordyan joined the army in 1971 as a medical lieutenant.
Work experience (club career)
At the invitation of Nikita Simonyan, in 1973, Vahagn Ordyan started working at Ararat, from which his way to fame started. Ordyan worked there until 1996, for 23 years.

He has been working at Pyunik FC since 2014.
National teams
Vahagn Ordyan was the doctor of the first national team in the history of independent Armenia. He worked at the National Camp until 2002.
In 2002-2014, the famous doctor worked with all age groups of Armenia. In 2014, Ordyan returned to the staff of the Armenia national team for two years.
International experience and local achievements
In 2012, 2013, 2015, Vahagn Ordyan took part in the 3rd degree UEFA sports medicine courses and received a UEFA doctor's certificate.
He was awarded the Order of Higher Medicine by the USSR.
In 2001 he was awarded the title of honorary worker of RA physical culture and sports.
In total, Vahagn Levon Ordyan has participated in more than 30 programmes of medical-oriented experience exchanges organized by UEFA and FIFA.
