Reaching the third qualifying round of the Champions League for the first time in its history, Pyunik lost both matches (0:2, 0:5) to Serbian champion Crvena Zvezda and finished its performances in the most prestigious European football tournament.

Pyunik will play in the Europa League playoff round where our team's opponent will be Moldovan champion Sheriff Tiraspol.

Moldovan club lost both legs (1:2, 1:2) of the third qualifying round of the Champions League to Czech champion ViKtoria Pizen.

Let us note that the first leg of Pyunik and Sherif will take place in Yerevan on August 18. The second leg will be played in Moldova on August 25.
