In the central match of the 29th day of the Fastex Armenian Premier League, Pyunik hosted Ararat Armenia at the Republican Stadium.

 At the end of the first half the penalty kick against us was accurately taken by the hosts’ player Artur Serobyan. At the beginning of the second half, Yeghishe Melikyan threw his joker, Luka Juricic, into the fight and he didn’t disappoint again. In the 61st minute of the match the Bosnian player equalized the score, and after Artak Dashyan’s fantastic shot from outside the penalty area we left the rival behind. In the added time of the match, Luka Juricic made a hat-trick. After these goals, our forward places first among the best scorers of the championship with 13 goals.

 After the victory over our nearest rival Ararat Armenia in the tournament table, our team rose to the 2nd place and has 64 points leaving behind leader Urartu by 3 points.

 Also, our club continued the series of victories in the Armenian championship. This was our 10th consecutive victory.

 Our team will play the next match on May 2 at Shirak.
