We are glad to announce that Pyunik has signed a contract with 30-year-old Ghanaian Mary Eсsiful.

The midfielder started her career in the Intellectuals Ladies club of her native country, where she played for 13 years. Before moving to Armenia, the African performed for Icelandic Vikingur, French Grand Calais Pascal and Nigerian Rivers Angels.

In 2021 Mary moved to Armenia; here she played in the most title-winning club, Hayasa. In two seasons, Essiful became a two-time champion of the country and scored 12 goals in 16 games.

Essiful also participated in the women's Champions League qualifying round for Hayasa.

Essiful is a footballer of the Ghana women's national team. Since 2014, she has participated in the African Women's Championship 3 times. In 2016, Ghana won the bronze medal in the main tournament of the continent and the newcomer of Pyunik had her contribution to that achievement.
