We are glad to announce that 20-year-old midfielder Vyacheslav Afyan has returned to FC Pyunik  after completing his military service.

Afyan joined our academy at the age of 10. In the 2018/19 season, he became the winner of the Armenia U-14 Cup together with Pyunik-05.

From the second half of the 2020/21 season, Vyacheslav began playing in the Armenian First League with Pyunik Academy, where he competed until the end of 2023.

In the autumn of 2022, as part of Pyunik’s youth team, he took part in two matches of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Youth League against French side Nantes.

On June 6, 2023, in the match of the last round of the Armenian Premier League against Alashkert, Vyacheslav Afyan made his debut for Pyunik’s first team.

In December 2023, Vyacheslav moved to BKMA, where he played during the past two years while completing his military service.

In the autumn stage of the current Armenian Premier League season, Vyacheslav Afyan featured in all 15 matches for the army team, scoring 1 goal and providing 5 assists.

Afyan has also represented Armenia’s U-16, U-17, U-19 and U-21 national teams.
