The head coach of Pyunik Artak Oseyan gave an extensive interview to the club’s press service, summarizing the team’s month-long training camp and also speaking about the team’s current condition, the newcomers, and other topics.
«First of all, it should be noted that the winter preparation period is the longest one, and the main work must be carried out during this time. As for the training camp, we divided it into two parts: The main overall objective was to improve the team’s physical condition and the level of technical and tactical aspects, to apply different game systems and, of course, to integrate the newcomers into our team’s playing model.
At the same time, we also carried out specific work related to game situations. In particular, we conducted individual work with the players regarding changes in their positions and the responsibilities associated with those positions.
Overall, I can say that the training camp served its purpose, but naturally a coach is never completely satisfied».
