After the cup match against Noah (1:2), Pyunik head coach Artak Oseyan shared his thoughts on the game:

“I think there was some tension in the team’s actions for the first match. At least, at the beginning. But in the second half we improved significantly and put pressure towards the end. I think our opponent had a certain territorial advantage today, but we did not concede at least in terms of scoring chances.

I think this was a painful defeat. At the end of the match we could have equalized, but I can say that this is only the first part of the confrontation, and we are confident that in the return match we can neutralize that small advantage of the opponent.”
