Our team’s head coach Artak Oseyan summed up Pyunik’s performances and spoke about the club’s future plans after the 2։1 win over Van in the final round of the league season։
“To be honest, it was a very difficult match. Today we lacked energy, emotion and aggression, which is natural — the last matches of the season are always like that. But the players fought until the end, you could say they gave everything they had, and in the end it was important to finish this difficult season with a victory.
Of course, we still have a lot to work on, because we achieved only the minimum of our expectations. Overall, I would rate the season as decent for us, but naturally, Pyunik is an ambitious club, the most titled club in Armenia, and we should not be satisfied with third place.
We need to work a lot on every phase of the game. There will be new transfers at Pyunik, and I believe the team will become stronger and be ready for the next season.”
