FC Pyunik has signed a new player: Mozambican left winger Witiness Chimoio João Quembo, known as Viti, has joined our team.

At the beginning of his career, the 29-year-old footballer played for the youth academies of the Portuguese clubs Nacional and Benfica. In January 2015, Viti made his senior debut for Nacional in the Portuguese Primeira Liga (the country's top division).

After spending around 10 years in Portugal, the player moved to the UAE Pro League club Dibba Al-Hisn in the summer of 2024, and later continued his career with another Emirati side, Al-Orouba.

Viti's previous club was Portugal's Nacional, where he returned in July 2025. Last season in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, he made 26 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

With Nacional, Viti twice became the winner of the Liga Portugal 2, securing the titles in the 2017/18 and 2019/20 seasons.

In total, the Mozambican footballer played 108 matches for Nacional in the Primeira Liga, scoring 4 goals and delivering 11 assists.

Since 2015, Viti has also been a regular for the Mozambique national team, earning 45 caps, scoring 4 goals, and providing 6 assists.
