Artak Oseyan: "Our victory was logical"

Following a confident 3-0 victory over Van in the second round of the Armenian Premier League, Pyunik's head coach, Artak Oseyan, shared his assessment of the match. He also spoke about Karlen Hovhannisyan's progress, the fierce competition in the attacking line, and the goals set for the team.

"I think we played football at a fairly good level today and won logically.

To be honest, since we returned to our previous tactical formation, there were certain details that we lacked, which is natural. However, I consider this normal. We will continue to work to improve our game.

Regarding Karlen Hovhannisyan's prospects of playing in a stronger league... first of all, I am very happy for Karlen and his progress. Of course, I also support the idea that sooner or later he should move to a stronger championship and play for a stronger team, because he proves his worth every day. But timing-wise, I think there is no need to rush yet. The team that makes an offer must, first and foremost, be a good fit for him. In any case, it won't be a crisis if he continues to play in Armenia for this season as well. That is my view.

This season, we have the same objectives: a maximum and a minimum. But personally, as a coach, I have already told the team, and I demand it from myself as well—to fight to the maximum for all titles in Armenia."
