In the framework of the training camp Pyunik played its first control match, which lost 0:2 to the current champion of Ukraine Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Miners had a game and territorial advantage in the competition with us. Despite a few moments created in the first half, Shakhtar took the lead thanks to Zubkov's goal in the 13th minute. In the second half, the picture remained the same, Pyunik was able to create several moments near the rival’s goal, but in the 82nd minute, our team made a mistake leaving the defense line, and Viktor Tsukanov put the end of the match, 2:0.

Our team will play the next match on January 29, competing with Bosnia and Herzegovina runner-up Borac.
