Pyunik continues preparing for the continuation of the season and held another friendly match yesterday. Our rival was Shakhter Karagandy.

The first half ended in a scoreless draw. At the beginning of the second half, the Kazakhs took the lead, minutes later Edgar Malakyan earned a penalty kick, but failed to score it. The rival was playing quite roughly, and our team was able to equalize the score during another free kick. Russian defender Mikhail Kovalenko stood out. And minutes before the end of the match, Sergey Vakulenko scored our winning goal.

Pyunik celebrated the 3rd victory in the friendly matches. In the previous matches we beat the leader of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Premier League, Borac (2:0), then defeated the champion of Kazakhstan Ordabasy (4:2). Our team will play the upcoming control match against Ukrainian Zarya on February 10.
