In the 11th round of the Armenian First League, Pyunik Academy hosted Ararat-Armenia-2 at home.

The start of the game was successful for our team; already in the 3rd minute, after Artak Galstyan’s free kick, Artyom Aleksanyan put ahead Pyunik Academy with a header – 1-0.

In the 19th minute, the guests managed to equalize the score. After a pass from the right wing, Sargis Shahverdyan sent the ball from close range into our goal.

The final part of the match was a thriller scenario. In the 6th minute of added time, Ararat-Armenia-2 managed to take the lead thanks to Vahe Petrosyan’s beautiful goal, and it seemed that the outcome of the game was already decided.

However, our players did not give up and were able to save the game in the last seconds. After Hayk Tatosyan’s header in the opponent’s penalty area, Valeri Hambardzumyan was the first to react to the ball and sent it into the opponent’s goal, 2-2.

After this draw, Pyunik Academy places 10th in the standings with 10 points.

Our team will play their next game on October 15, competing with Andranik away.
