In the penultimate round of the Armenian First League, “Pyunik Academy” hosted “Bentonit” at home.

The first half ended goalless, but after the break, in the 58th minute, team captain Tigran Gevorgyan opened the scoring with a precise finish — 1։0.

In the 78th minute, Artur Aleksanyan went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, and after his shot the ball deflected off Bentonit defender Hovhannes Gevorgyan at the last moment and went into the net, recorded as an own goal — 2։0.

Thanks to this victory, Pyunik Academy earned 41 points and moved up to 6th place in the standings.

Levon Stepanyan's team will play its final league match on May 26 in Charentsavan against Van-2.
