The Pyunik Girls team defeated the Syunik Girls team in the penalty shootout of the Armenian Women's First League final. The main time of the match ended 1:1. The goal of our team was scored by Karine Mkrtchyan. Pyunik Girls won 4:3 in the post-match penalty shootout.

Armen Bareghamyan's team had started the fight from Subgroup 1 and reached the playoffs, having placed second. In the semifinals, our team scored 4 unanswered goals against Shirak and qualified for the final.

"The girls showed character in a tough match. Our team was formed 7-8 months ago. In winter, we started training a month earlier than other teams, we improved our physical and playing qualities in a short time, and the result is this achievement,"
