The Simon Cup tournament dedicated to the memory of the hero of the 44-day war, Simon Israelyan, ended at Urartu FC. The teams Pyunik 2010 and Pyunik 2009 from our academy took part in the tournament and secured silver and bronze medals respectively.

The Pyunik 2009 team scored one win and four draws after five games played in the group stage. Our boys especially impressed in the matches against the Georgian teams, defeating Celero and playing a draw with Dimnamo Tbilisi.
The last match of the tournament for Aram Gyulbudaghyan's team was the match for the third place, where our students were able to score a 1:0 victory against the peers from Urartu and win bronze medals.

The Pyunik 2010 team celebrated three victories after five games of the group stage and registered one draw and one defeat.
Our alumni lost the final to their peers from Urartu and became the vice-champions of the tournament.
