We are pleased to announce that our academy alumnus, goalkeeper Armen Hovakimyan, has signed his first professional contract with Pyunik. The 18-year-old player will play for Pyunik Academy from now on.

Hovakimyan received his football education at Pyunik, attending our academy from the age of 6.

In the 2023/24 season, Hovakimyan defended the goal of the Pyunik 2007 team and won the Armenia U18 Championship, thanks to which we were able to play in the Youth Champions League.

“I am grateful to the club for the trust. It’s a great honor to be a part of Pyunik. My coaches, family and friends have always supported and helped me on my way, for which I am very grateful to them. This is just the beginning and I am ready for new challenges,” the 18-year-old goalkeeper noted.
