Pyunik Academy extorts a draw with 10 players from Andranik

Pyunik Academy drew the match of the 17th day of the First League with Andranik at the Sevan City Stadium.

Six minutes after the start of the match, the hosts opened the score thanks to Andres Gamboa. A few minutes later, the Pomegranates earned a penalty kick but Levon Petrosyan failed it. During the tense game and hot struggle, there was a clash between the players at the end of the first half, due to which the referee sent off our team’s Sergey

Harutyunyan with a red card. In the second half, Pyunik Academy quickly equalized the score and earned the second penalty kick, which this time was accurately scored by Levon Petrosyan. It took Andranik only 2 minutes to regain the lead. Vardan Azizyan was the fastest to find his way out of the chaos created in the penalty area of Pyunik Academy and to send the ball into our goal.

However, our persistence was not in vain. In the first minute of the referee’s added time, Karen Hovakimyan sent the ball from the right wing into the opponent’s penalty area, and the home team’s goalkeeper Nikolay Aslanyan, missed it, 2:2. Levon Stepanyan’s team will play their next match on March 31, being received by Ararat-Armenia-2 at the Avan Football Academy.
