The Pyunik Academy alumni Sergey Harutyunyan and Karen Hovakimyan will play for BKMA during their military service.

Sergey Harutyunyan has been attending our sports school since 2016 and took his first steps in football in the Pyunik-3-07 team. He became winner of the Armenian U18 Championship and two-time Cup winner. In March 2023, he was named the best defender of the tournament held in Sochi. Sergey also played for the Armenia U15, U16, U17 and U19 national teams. In 2023, our footballer won the UEFA Development Cup held in Malta with the Armenia U17 national team, and in the fall of the same year he participated in the qualifying round of the European U17 Championship. In the summer of 2024, Sergey played the match of the Youth Champions League first round against Dinamo Minsk for the Pyunik U18 team. Last season, Sergey Harutyunyan played 21 games for Pyunik Academy in the Armenian First League and scored 3 goals.

Karen Hovakimyan also took his first steps in football at our academy, at the age of 5. In the 2023/24 season, he became winner of the Armenian U18 Championship and Cup with Pyunik 2007, and in 2024, he participated in the match of the first round of the Youth Champions League against Dinamo Minsk. Karen also played for the Armenian U15, U16, U17 and U19 national teams. In 2022-23, our footballer participated in the matches of the European Championship qualifying round with the Armenia U17 national team. In November 2024, he participated in the European Championship qualifying round with the Armenia U19 national team. In the summer of 2024, Karen signed his first professional contract with Pyunik. Last season, Karen Hovakimyan participated in 22 matches of the Armenian First League with Pyunik Academy and scored 1 goal.
