In the 7th round of the Armenian First League, Pyunik Academy competed at home with the leader of the First League, Sardarapat, which had spent all the previous matches without losing points.

In the 31st minute of the match, Hamlet Minasyan put the guests ahead, and 3 minutes later, our team's defender Andranik Hakobyan and goalkeeper Artur Petrosyan acted uncoordinatedly, as a result of which an own goal was recorded, and the score became 0-2.

Before the break, Pyunik Academy captain Hayk Tatosyan managed to reduce the score difference to 1-2 from the free kick.

In the 65th minute, a penalty kick was awarded for knocking down Aris Karapetyan, and Hayk Tatosyan scored it flawlessly, equalizing the score.

However, in the next attack, the players of Sardarapat again took the lead, 2-3. Hamlet Minasyan scored a brace for the guests.

Despite the efforts made, our boys were unable to change the course of the game, and the opponent managed to get another goal in the last minute of added time with a quick counterattack and won 4:2.
