Hovhannes Harutyunyan returned to Pyunik from Ararat-Armenia in 2021. Harutyunyan won the Armenian Championship twice; in the 2019/20 season with Ararat-Armenia, and in the 2021/22 season with Pyunik. Hovhannes is an alumnus of our club. He made his debut in the main team in 2016, and scored his first two goals for our club a year later in the match with Ararat, helping with the win, 2:1. Then, he moved to Ararat-Armenia, and after it to the Slavic Zemplin and again returned to Ararat-Armenia. After coming back to Pyunik, Hovhannes gradually strengthened his position in our team and was invited to the Armenia national team for the first time, making his debut in September 2022 in the match with Ireland. Harutyunyan is player of the national team. In November he crossed the threshold of 100 matches for our club.
